#SiegeofLadysmith2020 – Protest action flares up once again in Ladysmith
People are advised to be cautious and stay away from the affected areas
The situation in Ladysmith is not getting any better, as protesters are at it again tonight (March 11) in their bid to remove Alfred Duma Local Municipality Mayor Vincent Madlala.
Protesters have blocked Protea Drive, the Roosboom road and other roads in Ladysmith, once again making it impossible for motorists to get through.

Reports have come in that angry protesters are throwing rocks at vehicles in Acaciavale.
People are advised to be cautious and stay away from the affected areas.
Reports of gunshots have also been received. At this stage, this cannot be confirmed, but residents are nevertheless urged to stay indoors.
Police and Public Safety are monitoring the situation.
