Police and Public Safety officers were seen clearing roads and dispersing protesters this afternoon (February 27) in Limit Hill, Driefontein and Acaciavale.
Arrests were made by police and taxis were impounded.

The roads are open for now, but who knows how long that will last. It is believed that the protesters plan to close the roads again.
Please be vigilant if you are driving in town.
Update: Some roads are still closed. The word on social media is that protesters are starting to block off roads again. This, however, has not been confirmed.
