#SiegeofLadysmith2020 – Mass stay-away update

The CBD resembles a ghost town

Man-made roadblocks consisting of stones and debris were laid in the early hours of this morning (February 27) by protesters throughout town. It is clear that this was a highly organised attempt to shut down Ladysmith.

Public Safety officers have been active since early this morning, clearing debris from the roads.
