Residents of Newcastle, are you ready for a local spin on The Amazing Race? Don’t miss out on the annual Stucky Motors Lekker Resies this Saturday (February 29).
“The event has grown into one where friends and companies can have fun and build camaraderie,” said Marketing Director of the Champ Group, Johan Pieters.
What is the Lekker Resies all about?
In essence, five team members drive around Newcastle looking for clues to complete the event.
“The Champ Group of Companies is the new owner of the event, which was previously organised by Amajuba High School. This year, we will focus on only the Amazing Race part of the event,” said Pieters.
The event will begin at 10am at Treetops at The Pines Wedding and Conference Village. Big name on the Afrikaans music scene, Jan Bloukaas will perform at Treetops from 3pm. Teams are urged to enter by 3pm on February 27.
