Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge promises fun and action

Children under 13 years of age will compete against each other in various sport codes.

Excitement is building, as preparations for the annual Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge get underway.

Now in its 13th year, the event will once again pit local schools against each other in a variety of sports, along with providing loads of fun for the whole family. The Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge takes place at Kallies Stadium from May 28 to 30.

Children under 13 years of age will compete against each other in various sport codes including soccer, netball, cricket, boxing, cycling and chess. This year, to add to the fun, teachers will also challenge each other in the cycling event.

On May 28, children can enjoy the special school day, where they can ride on the all-new ‘fun land’ at a special rate. This year’s ‘fun land’ includes a new horror tent and bumper cars.

Organiser, Ash Khan once again reiterated that liquor, drugs and weapons would not be allowed into the venue and right of admission was reserved. Mr Khan also aims to meet with the taxi association, to speak about blocking of the road to reduce congestion.
