Manhunt begins after discovery of body near Glencoe

Anyone with information which can assist with the investigation, is urged to contact Glencoe SAPS.

Mystery surrounds the discovery of a 29-year-old man’s body on Sunday evening, near the old Glencoe/Wasbank road, close to the dumping site.

The body was reportedly found by a police patrol at about 5.30pm on Sunday. SAPS spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala confirmed the deceased had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.

The name of the deceased has been revealed as Clive Majola, a Sithembile resident.

A case of murder has since been opened at Glencoe Police Station and the crime is under investigation.
