An ICU patient was airlifted from La Verna Lenmed Private Hospital yesterday evening (February 16).
A helicopter flew in, during the darkness of night, and landed on the Ladysmith High School (LHS) sports ground to pick up the seriously injured woman.

The woman was transported from La Verna to the school by private ambulance, before being put into the helicopter to be taken to Hilton.
