On February 13, Ichthus hosted its annual swimming gala.
The school thanks the staff and parents who assisted as officials, and the parents who managed the tuck shop throughout the day. The gala would not have been such a success without their help.
Ichthus thanks the Lord for lovely weather on the day of the gala and for blessing the learners with their wonderful talents. Well done to all the swimmers who participated in their events with great enthusiasm.
The final results were as follows:
Best Under-9 Girl – Makayla Singh, Best U-9 Boy: Yishay Laloo, Junior Victrix Ludorum – Bianca Erwee and Mbali Chonco, Junior Victor Ludorum -Malusi Mbonani, Senior Victrix Ludorum – Cailan de Lange, Senior Victor Ludorum – Musa Mazibuko and Panashe Chawanda.
Ichthus also thanks Dundee High School for the use of its facilities – the school really appreciates it! Ichthus concluded by thanking the school’s coaches, swimming club and external coaches (Shaun Blom and Karien Blom), who prepared the learners for the gala.
