Detectives investigate murder case in the Industrial Area
Police reported a 31-year-old had sustained multiple stab wounds.
A case of murder is being investigated by Newcastle Detectives.
The murder reportedly occurred on January 31, near Sunlight Factory in the Industrial Area, at around 9.50pm. Police reported a 31-year-old sustained multiple stab wounds.
They later arrested a 23-year-old suspect, but the motive for the crime remains unclear.
“The suspect appeared in the Newcastle Magistrate’s Court on February 3. The case has been remanded to February 10. Police investigations continue,” said SAPS spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Ncube.
