The funeral service of the late Naveen Maharaj will take place today (February 10).
The body will lie in state at the Richview Civic Hall from 11am to 2.30pm, and thereafter proceedings will move to the Newcastle Crematorium at 3pm.
The Newcastle Advertiser extends its condolences to the bereaved family.
