The N3 near Hidcote was the scene of a fatal crash yesterday (February 6).

One person was killed when a double cab bakkie veered out of control on the northbound and overturned, before coming to a stop on the centre median.
Local emergency services received the accident alert at 6pm. One elderly female was declared dead on scene and paramedics treated one of the family members for serious injuries and two others for minor injuries.
