He was accompanied by youth district chairperson Mr S Dubazane, together with Mtshezi / Mbabazane Constituency leadership.

The main aim of the visit was to check the progress made so far regarding the registration of new students, and to attend to issues encountered by the students on their first date of opening / registration.

Cllr Mkhize was pleased by what he witnessed at registration. However, a few minor challenges were raised by students, including that the institution is no longer in a position to accept any new applications due to a limited number of spaces.

Cllr Mkhize encouraged the students to focus on their studies and informed them that their right to education should not be compromised. He asked them to work tirelessly in order to face any challenges along their journey.
