Hundreds of protesters took to the streets and marched to the Town Hall from Settlers Park this morning (February 3), saying that Alfred Duma Mayor Vincent Madlala “must fall”.
The protesters are currently at the Town Hall, with police and Public Safety monitoring the situation.
The marchers handed over a memorandum to the Speaker of Alfred Duma Local Municipality, voicing their grievances with regards to the mayor.
Motorists are advised to stay clear of the CBD area, as traffic is chaotic.
