Members of the monthly club embarked on a five kilometre trek, which included passing and overlooking three waterfalls along the hike's trail.

Members of the Hikeobics club began their 2020 journey in Mullers Pass, Umzimyathi on January 25. Members of the monthly club embarked on a five kilometre trek, which included passing and overlooking three waterfalls along the hike’s trail.

Hikers excited to trek up the mountains.

Hikeobics founder, Tsebiso Maruping said the hike was meant to be a wet one:

“The idea of this hike was to get everyone wet and hiking; we encountered a drizzle and heavy winds during the hike, especially at our highest peak. We also learned the importance of water preservation and to never underestimate its abilities. We worked as a team when we had to cross streams, holding each other’s hands to jump over to the other side.We are happy we will again be hiking every month within the year of 2020.”
