A group of armed men stormed a home in the Mpati area in the early hours of this morning, tying up the occupants and pistol-whipping them.
Neighbours said they heard noises from the house at around 3.15am. It is understood at least nine men invaded the home, making off with several household items including jewellery and cash.
The gang is believed to have gained access via the kitchen window. The victims, including a 13-year-old girl, have been treated by a doctor. SAPS is investigating the matter.
