The programme was led by Member of Parliament Mbali Frazer.  She addressed the attendees on women abuse and child abuse, and emphasised the government’s commitment to stop this scourge of violence among families.

Mrs Frazer added that men who were part of the programme should refrain from hurting their spouses, children and other family members.

The initiative was well supported and found to be most informative.  An appeal was made to carry out programmes like this on a monthly basis to equip young men and women on how to curb GBV.
