Last Thursday, the SANBS team set up their stations at the Estcourt Town Hall from 11am to 6pm. As the first clinic of the year, it got off to a slow start, with 35 locals attending and 33 units of blood being collected. One new blood donor was welcomed.

Blood clinic co-ordinator Mrs Dawoonarain said, “We are content with the units of blood collected. Thank you to all the donors who came forward and made a contribution.”

Rev Goodman Mazibuko has his blood pressure examined.

The next monthly blood donor clinic will be held on February 13. You are urged to show some love and support for this worthy cause by donating a life-saving pint.
