Rumours of shooting turn out to be injury in building fire
A man was injured when a piece of glass went through his foot
Rumours have been going around town that a shooting took place in Kandahar Avenue on Wednesday afternoon (January 15).
However, according to paramedics at the scene, what did happen was that a man was injured as a result of the building fire that was covered by the Ladysmith Gazette (both online and in the newspaper).

It is alleged that a man jumped from a top-storey window of the building that was on fire, and a piece of glass went through his foot. Paramedics responded to the scene and treated the man for his injuries.
The man was taken to hospital for further medical treatment.
