Chickens and sponges stolen from Dundee home

The victim went to bed and awoke to find the house had been broken into.

11 chickens and a number of sleeping sponges were stolen from a house on Hajee Jamal Street.

According to a report from Dundee SAPS, the complainant went to bed after locking all the doors and windows. When she awoke the next day, she noticed one of the burglar guards in the bedroom was broken open.

It is believed burglary cases are on the rise presently. This incident is now under investigation by police officials.
