Two rapes reported over past week in Dundee
In one incident, a woman claimed a family member forced himself upon her.
Two separate rape cases were reported at Dundee SAPS over the past week.
According to reports, a 25 year-old woman was raped by a relative at Lindelani, Sibongile last Wednesday. The victim claimed she was asleep when her relative began swearing and throwing objects about, before forcing himself upon her. A case was opened and the suspect was taken into custody.
In a separate case, a 19-year-old girl reported she had been drinking and fell asleep near a road. When she woke up, she realised she had been raped but was unsure what had happened or who had raped her. The case is currently under investigation by the Dundee FCS Unit.
