Body found beneath Umzinyathi bridge

The body of a girl, estimated to be between 16 and 20 years old, was found below the Umzinyathi Bridge (Buffalo River Bridge) on the Nquhtu road on January 3.

According to Detective Nkosi of Nquthu SAPS, the girl was approximately seven months pregnant. It appeared she was thrown from the bridge.

The girl was of average height and no one has come forward to identify the body.
