2. The Class of 1983 were congratulated on their matric passes.

3. Cutworm was rearing its head in gardens and farms. Cutworm is a greasy-looking caterpillar that damages seedlings.

4. A 15-year-old boy, Vannah Bassingthwaite died in the swimming pool at the Midlands Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
