8 children among 13 injured as taxi overturns on N3 near Ladysmith

A taxi that was fully loaded with passengers overturned today (December 22) near Ladysmith.

The crash took place on the N3 between the Bergville Plaza and Tugela Plaza.

It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway.

Among the 13 people injured, eight of them were children.

The injured were treated on scene before being taken to hospital for further medical attention.
