It was a night of gospel music and motivation in Madadeni, as residents were treated to a special show, which saw national artists flocking to town on December 15.
The Uminathi Motivation Tour held a ‘Ubusuku Bendumiso Nonkulunkulu’ gospel concert at Madadeni’s Natu Centre, in Section 3. National artists included Dumi Mkokstad, Sbu Noah and Thina Zungu.
Local artists were not left behind, as ‘Nhlanhla and Themba’ also entertained guests. The show was filled with motivational messages from well-known Pastor Zondo, who also does weekly motivational talks on Ukhozi FM, and Ps Bishop Mdletshe.
Pastor Zondo said it was important to know where you were going as an individual.
“Stepping into the year 2020, leave behind people who hurt your heart, whether it’s in friendships or relationships; leave it all behind. Have the courage to move forward and trust God with your life. Many relationships have failed because people forget the purpose of why they got together in the first place. Live a purposeful life.”
The concert was also attended by Amajuba District Mayor, Dr Musa Ngubane and former Newcastle Mayor, Advocate Makhosini Nkosi.
