Family sustains injuries along the N3 as vehicle overturns

Emergency services respond to an accident scene along the N3

The driver of this car lost control resulting in it overturning.

A family of five was involved in an accident along the N3 northbound, just before Tugela River crossing a short while ago.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn. All the occupants, one being a child, sustained minor to moderate injuries.

They have since been transported to a medical facility in the area for further treatment. Traffic is being diverted to the slow lane as the fast lane is obstructed. The scene is in the process of being cleared.
