Santa Claus spreads smiles for CMD youth

The children met Santa Claus and were also served cake, chips and popcorn.

There were plenty reasons to smile for the little ones, when Santa Claus made a surprise appearance at Christian Social Services (CMD). Santa helped spoil the little ones by handing out presents and joined in on the singing of Christmas carols.

Little Eli can’t wait to get his hands on one of the party packs donated by Masla Pillay and his family, while Eli’s mother, Patricia Zoya and Santa Claus look on.

For the children, meeting Santa Claus wasn’t the only highlight, as they were also served cake, chips, popcorn and were given party packs to enjoy. Patricia Zoya from CMD thanked all those who made the day possible.

Santa, (portrayed by Assie van Aswegen) is surrounded by Patricia Zoya, Andrea Steele, Charmaine Khumalo, Ronel Smit and Nikita Ramdayal.

She extended her appreciation to: Lihle Malinga for the Christmas tree and vegetables, Lindie Karsten for the veggies and canned food, Masla Pillay and family for the party packs, The Shed (Lorraine Slabbert) for the food, Andre Swiegers for the box cakes, Ronel Smit for the popcorn and helping organise the day, Dolly Bradbury for the juice and Assie van Aswegen for taking on the role of Santa Claus.
