Sport and academic achievers honoured at Ichthus

Reverend Jacobus de Bruin of the Dutch Reformed Church opened the evening with an inspirational message.

On November 27, Ichthus held its annual Senior Prize-Giving.

Reverend Jacobus de Bruin of the Dutch Reformed Church opened the evening with an inspirational message, which was followed by the Ichthus Choir’s lovely songs. Mrs Viljoen delivered her annual report in rhyme, to the delight of young and old.

Every learner at Ichthus received a book prize which mentioned his or her unique accomplishments and character, with prizes and trophies awarded to the following learners:

The evening ended with a candle lighting ceremony, where the Grade 6 learners took over the leadership of the school from the Grade 7 learners. Ichthus thanked the parents, learners and staff, who worked together to make this year a success!
