Stage 2 load-shedding moved up to stage 4

Stage 2 load-shedding was enforced this morning (December 9) by Eskom, but now has been stepped up to stage 4.

Residents are encouraged to help Eskom by using electricity sparingly. They can do this by switching off geysers, as well as non-essential lighting and electrical appliances to reduce the demand.
