[NOTICE] Residents can expect water cuts in these areas today

The Newcastle Municipality has been advised by uThukela Water about current repairs taking place at the Hilldrop reservoir.
Head of Communications for the municipality, Dr Dumisani Thabethe said as repairs would be done to a bulk pipe, it was anticipated repairs may only be finished by 2pm this afternoon.
“Any further delay to maintain this pipe could have serious consequences, as it feeds almost the whole of Newcastle”
Areas likely to be affected include, Arbor Park, Central (CBD) and Lennoxton.
