Drakensview Primary grade 7s say farewell to ‘small’ school

A grade 7 farewell was held recently and the learners had tons of fun

The 2019 Grade 7 class at Drakensview Primary School recently held their farewell function at school.

For many, it was time to bid their school goodbye after seven years.

Thabiso Makhathini, Hugo Dookey, Sibongakonke Nyathi, Brydley Nqindi, Sinaye Mbele, Silindokuhkle Hadebe, De-Angelo Ndlela, Busani Mbili, Akonamandla Mfuphi and Aphiwe Hadebe.

The beautifully dressed children were treated to a colourfully decorated hall and were served a three-course lunch.

Before the formalities and speeches, it was “selfie-time” with friends.

Gorgeous girls Phiwokuhle Ndlovu, Thandolwethu Mdlala, Siphokazi Lamula, Nkanyezi Faranisi, Kuhklekonke Mthimkhulu, Babalwa Hadebe, Zekethelo Zuma, (front) Nadia Zuma, Akona Mazibuko, Noluthando Ndawonde and Aneme Ngcobo.

After lunch, it was time to dance the afternoon away under the watchful eyes of the Grade 7 educators. All in all, it was a fun occasion!
