According to police, no arrests have yet been made in connection with the decomposed body that was found on a farm along the N11 on November 9.
The deceased has, however, been identified as a 39-year-old female from Jabavu in Steadville.
The body was found by youngsters.
It is alleged that tree branches had been laid on top of the corpse, which was already in an advanced stage of decomposition.
