Man found murdered in truck on Ebenezer Street, Newcastle
Upon closer inspection, police officials noted the face and head of the deceased were swollen.
Newcastle SAPS is investigating a case of murder, which occurred between November 13 and 16 on Ebenezer Street, (off Bird Street).
“The police received a complaint from radio control and proceeded to the scene, and found the truck abandoned,” read a statement from SAPS spokesman, Captain Jabulani Ncube.
Police reported that upon closer inspection, the deceased was found with his face and head swollen. A case of murder was subsequently opened.
“The victim was a 35-year-old male who apparently was a driver of the truck from Mpumalanga.”
No arrests have been made at this stage and official investigations continue.
