With the aroma of popcorn in the air, red and white stripes galore, a clown, silhouettes of trapeze artists in ‘flight’ and bunches of colourful balloons everywhere, Uelzen Primary School’s hall was transformed into a festive carnival for its Grade 7 farewell.

A variety of tasty goodies could be found at various stalls, including cupcakes, sweets, soda pop and candyfloss, while the music man (aka Jody Mitchell) provided wonderful music and magical lighting effects.

The girls looked absolutely beautiful in an array of pretty outfits and the boys were very smart, as they arrived with their proud parents to enjoy the special occasion.

The celebration began at 7pm after an official mocktail party, during which lots of photos were taken at the designated booth!
In due course, pizzas arrived and gifts were exchanged, making for a happy evening and memorable send-off for the senior learners.

The smartly dressed Grade 7 boys look very handsome.
