Newcastle gets into the Christmas spirit

Residents got to shop for various items, ranging from handmade craft items to hand-crafted earrings and more.

As the Christmas season fast approaches, the birth of Jesus is commemorated on December 25, known as Christmas Day.

This holiday is recognised as a religious and cultural celebration by many around the globe, and Newcastle residents have started preparing for the holiday’s festivities.

Residents had the chance to do some early shopping at the Majuba Christmas Market, which was held at the Majuba Lodge on November 16. Residents got to shop for various items, ranging from handmade craft items, hand-crafted earrings, children’s toys and clothes, coupled with good food to eat and enjoy.
