Ladysmith police hunt for killers who gunned down taxi owner

It is believed that the suspects were driving a white Toyota Fortuner

Ladysmith police have opened a murder docket and are appealing to anyone with information that could lead to arrests to come forward after a taxi owner was gunned down in Burford last Sunday (November 10).

It is alleged that the victim was driving his bakkie when unknown men opened fire on him.

He was shot several times and empty rifle cartridges were recovered at the crime scene.

A private vehicle was used to rush the seriously wounded taxi owner to hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. It is believed that the suspects were driving a white Toyota Fortuner.
