Four suspects were taken into custody after a Ladysmith SAPS constable was brutally stabbed to death on Friday evening, June 7. It is alleged that the stabbing took place at a butchery in the Steadville area.
The police officer was off duty at the time.
According to police, two of the arrested suspects have since been released.
The other two were remanded into custody after their bail application was unsuccessful.
