Be someone’s superhero and donate blood
SANBS needs you to donate blood on November 8 at the Klipkerk (NG Moedergemeente) from 11am to 6pm
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) needs real life heroes in the form of blood donors!
According to research, a small habit normally takes 21 days to take form and so does the habit of donating blood.
One unit of blood can save up to three lives. For some years now, SANBS has fallen short in achieving its blood donation targets, but in 2019 has thus far reached its goal. It hoped to maintain that excellent performance.
There is generally in increase in blood usage during November and December, and SANBS needs help from the Vryheid community on November 8 at the Klipkerk (NG Moedergemeente), between 11am and 6pm. All donors will receive a token of appreciation on the day.
“By donating blood, you will become a hero to someone in need and save a life,” concluded SANBS representatives.
