Emergency services in Newcastle have responded to a collision scene on the R34 between Memel and Newcastle. According to reports, a vehicle left the road surface and rolled about 100m down the mountain.
One person has been fatally wounded and was found trapped inside the vehicle. SAPS is currently on scene and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
