Safety comes first at Eden Play School

Traffic Officer, Mondli Mthembu gave an educational talk at the school, to teach little ones about road safety.

The sounds of a siren at Eden Play School didn’t spell doom and gloom. In fact, the sirens actually brought smiles to the faces of many learners.

The sirens came from the vehicle of Traffic Officer, Mondli Mthembu and were part of his educational talk at the school. He visited Eden to teach little ones about road safety.

Officer Mthembu gave them tips on how to cross the road, talked about the importance of always wearing a seat belt and informed them of the duties of a traffic officer. He also educated the little ones on what would happen to their parents if they were to drink and drive.

Following his presentation, many youngsters were keen to join the ranks of the Traffic Department.
