SA Weather Service Warning: Extreme danger of veld fires
Stay out of the heat and ensure that any discarded cigarettes are properly extinguished
The South African Weather Service has issued veld fire warnings for Ladysmith and surrounding areas, due to the extremely hot weather currently being experienced in the region.
The unusually hot weather is expected to continue until Monday and people are warned to stay hydrated.
There is an extreme danger of veld fires in the region as well.
