Jadin Jordan took part in the National and Public Speaking Competition from September 26 to 29.
Jadin competed against the best in the country over the four days, which saw an amazing level of sophisticated speaking.

Competitors compete over two rounds in four categories during the first three days of the competition – prepared speaking (persuasive or after-dinner speech), impromptu speaking, interpretive reading and debating.
The quality of speaking thought debate and the integrity of the young men and women were exemplary. With the top speakers in the country on display, the tournament showcased the talent emerging in the youth.
Jadin achieved the following results per category for the competition:
1. After-dinner speaking – first in South Africa.
2. Impromptu speaking – first in South Africa.
3. Debating – seventh in South Africa.
Jadin Jordaan obtained third place overall in South Africa and was selected for the South African team.
The South African team will represent the country at the World Championship in Shangai, China in March next year.
