Many children entered different events, with one learner entering 12 different events and achieving an A+ for each item.  Mr Brits and Mrs Russell were mesmerised and entertained by the poems, monologues, advertisements, news at eight, show and tell, dramatic movement, sight-reading, mime, solo themes and much, much more.

Learners put on an expressive performance for the adjudicators.

The talent was unbelievable and the learners really made a huge effort with costumes, props, and make-up, studying poems and practicing for weeks in advance.

The results were outstanding: 58 A+s, 14 As and 9 Bs.  Mr Brits was very encouraging to the learners who suffered from an attack of nerves and stage fright.

“Thanks, Mr Brits, for being a gracious, professional and kind adjudicator. It’s always a pleasure having you at St Gregory’s Primary and the school looks forward to another year of drama, drama, drama!” is the message from the school.
