Lend a hand to help the children

Donate items of clothes, shoes and stationery, which will be distributed to the children from Ithembalethu Outreach Project

More than 300 children are under the wing of the Ithembalethu Outreach Project, whose members work tirelessly to secure donations to make the children’s lives more comfortable.

From food supplies to clothing, everything is welcomed by the orphaned and vulnerable children, many of whom live with caregivers.

The Estcourt News staff would like to lend a helping hand as well and have decided on a collection drive to gather supplies of clothes, stationery and sanitary pads, which will be packaged and distributed to the children in October. Thus far, staff and community members have been generous and the collection is growing. However, we would like to appeal to more people to help out.

Donations of pre-loved gently-used clothing (0-18 years), as well as stationery in good condition and sanitary pads would be appreciated. All donations can be dropped off at 99 Connor Street.
