Youth lead the way in Wembezi

The Salvation Army Wembezi Corps took to the streets of Wembezi under the banner ‘pathways to hope’

Young members of the Salvation Army Wembezi Corps hosted a youth service last Sunday. The aim was to bring about “pathways to hope” for the young people of Wembezi.

To kick off the service, the band led the church down various streets as members passed out invitations to their services.

Passersby happily received the invitations, some of which had been prayed for as well.

A short sermon was shared, followed by testimonies and praise songs.

The service was also attended by members of the Mid-KwaZulu Natal Salvation Army Division.

Sibusiso Khumalo encouraged the youth to know more about God.

“We are out here to share that at some point in life, you need God. He is like food and without Him, you will die. I am here to share the good news, especially with the youth,” he said.
