Man appears in court after being busted with crystal meth in Ladysmith

K9 Unit officers stopped a vehicle and upon searching it, they found that the driver was in possession of illegal drugs

A 38-year old man appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court recently after he was busted with 33 packets of crystal meth (amphetamines).

The arrest was made while Ladysmith K9 Unit officers were holding a ‘stop and search’ operation in a residential area of Ladysmith.

The officers stopped a vehicle and upon searching it, they discovered that the driver was in possession of illegal drugs in the form of crystal meth. The drugs have an estimated street value of R5000.
