Warning: No dogs to be kept on a chain – you will be fined
The AACL will be strict in this regard
A warning goes out to dog owners in Ladysmith that you are not allowed to keep your dog on a chain.
Speaking to Annamarie Koen from the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL), she said it is illegal to keep your dog chained up. “If you are caught, your dog can be taken away until you fix your property,” said Annamarie.

She warned that you can receive a hefty fine if you do not adhere to the law.
Annamarie ended off by saying that the AACL will be strict in this regard so that all dogs can be kept safe.
