Two men were shot dead tonight (September 28) on the Pieters road.
The men were travelling in a VW Citi Golf with four passengers in the back (two female and two male).
It is believed that the suspects approached in another vehicle and started talking to the men.
The four passengers in the back of the Golf had left the vehicle before shots were fired, killing both the driver and the front-seat passenger.

AK-47 and R5 shells were found scattered all around.
Police and forensic detectives combed the scene for evidence.
A large crowd of people from Steadville, including family members, gathered at the scene of the deadly shooting.
The motive is unknown at this stage.
