The woman was found on her bed with her throat slit.

Alarm bells were sounded by the school’s Principal last Thursday afternoon, after the teacher failed to report to the school for duty that morning and failed to answer her phone.

Family members then headed to her home and reportedly found the door locked, after which Ulundi SAPS was contacted for assistance.
Reports indicate police eventually broke the door down.
SAPS officials found the teacher inside the apartment, laying upon the bed with her throat slit, apparently with a table knife found near the body.
Her car, a Hyundai i20, was missing and presumed stolen.
The police are currently in pursuit of the teacher’s boyfriend who is believed to be the last person to see the teacher alive.
Anyone with information on the matter is urged to contact Ulundi SAPS on 035 879 8900.
