Collision witness sought by Newcastle detectives
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has details, is urged to contact Lieutenant-Colonel Themba Malinga urgently.
On August 19 at around 5.30pm, three vehicles were involved in a collision at the intersection of the N11 and the Dannhauser/Normandien Road. The resultant smash left two people dead.
One of the vehicles was a Toyota Quantum, believed to be travelling from Ladysmith to Newcastle with passengers on board. The second was a Toyota Cressida travelling from Dannhauser on the N11 towards Newcastle, while the third was an Audi heading towards Ladysmith from Newcastle.
Members of the Newcastle Detectives have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward, to assist the police with its investigations. They are urged to contact investigating officer, Lieutenant-Colonel Themba Malinga on 034 314 6130 or 072 259 4297.
