Naptosa announces winners for 2019 Readathon

The top three schools in Estcourt are lauded for their performance at the recent Naptosa Readathon

Following the 2019 Read-a-thon held on August 28 at the Drakensview Primary School hall, the top three performing schools have received awards.

This year’s host was ML Sultan Estcourt Primary and the school was proud to announce the winners that scooped the floating shield and shiny trophies.

Estcourt Primary School also impressed the adjudicators and came second.

In first place for ‘Best Performing School’ was Forderville Primary, followed by runner-up Estcourt Primary, and Drakensview Primary in third place.

The Estcourt Naptosa branch hosts the Read-a-thon annually, with the objective to nurture a culture of reading.
Programme director Mrs Osman congratulated the winning schools, the teachers and the learners, and motivated the learners to keep up the good work.
